Eternal Eye combines a uniquely rounded shape with textural contrasts to create a characterful rug that appeals to all the senses.

The neutral color palette ensures the focus remains on the structure, as it shifts from thick and sumptuous pile to flat-woven, before finishing with generous fringing at the end. Made in a combination of soft New Zealand wool and organic cotton warp – both materials selected for their durability and natural rustic beauty.

100% Hand-Knotted

Depending on the technique and size of the rug, an artisan can spend weeks or months to finish a rug. All Hand-knotted rugs are by far the most intricate and labor intensive process. An experienced weaver can tie an average of 8,000-10,000 knots per day, with bigger rugs requiring up to several weavers working together on one rug at the same time. This ancient and time-honored technique is extremely time-consuming, demanding great expertise and precision that takes years of practice.

Meet the Designer

As Head of Design, Urd Moll Gundermann feels privileged to have the opportunity to create beautiful designs every day. In her role as designer, rugs serve as her creative canvas, working with form, structure and colour until a balanced and functional solution emerges. In addition to designing new collections and exhibition pieces, Urd is also involved in other visual aspects, including creative input to photo shoots, website layout and catalogue.

Care and Maintenance

Regular cleaning by vacuuming. Vacuum in the direction of the rug’s pile, but not with the brushes in the “out position”. To be washed flat by a professional carpet cleaner. Most new rugs “shed” and this is very normal. Excess pile should be removed from the rug as it appears. We recommend underlay to avoid discoloration.
